"Loren Williams is an accomplished fly angler with over 3-decades of angling and tying experience behind him. He is considered one of the best teaching guides in Upstate New York where he guides for salmon, trout, and steelhead using traditional fly-fishing techniques. Loren is a member of Fly Fishing Team USA, and an accomplished commercial, demonstrative, and creative fly dresser. His tying skills earned him a selection as the first ever Fly-Fishing Team USA official fly tier in 2005. That experience spawned Loren’s addiction to competitive fly-fishing. Some of Loren’s competitive fly fishing medals include a 2007 team bronze medal, Oceania Championship; 2007 gold medal, Fly Fishing Team USA Midwest Regional; 2007 & 2008 Professional Division winner, Ausable 2-Fly Challenge; 2007 gold medal, Fly Fishing Team USA Southeast Regional; and a 2007 team bronze medal, Fly Fishing Team USA National Championships.  Loren also proudly coached Youth Team USA2 during the 2007 Youth World Championships and has assisted with coaching the 2008 Youth Team."
